Our next action (the last one for a few weeks!) is in Bury!
On Friday 27th October, the leaders of the 10 Greater Manchester councils will be meeting at Bury Town Hall and we’ll be there to greet them.
Join us to ask the leaders to demand that the GM pension fund takes its money out of fossil fuels. This is also a great moment to talk to council staff about their pension fund and ask them to call on the Fund to take their money out of fossil fuels.
We’ll be getting out our rope again and reminding leaders about the tug of war between the oil giants and our climate.
8:30am – 10:00am
Bury Town Hall, Knowsley St Bury BL9 0SW. The Town Hall is less than 5 mins walk from the tram stop and bus station.
Several of us will be travelling to Bury from Manchester, let us know if you’d like to travel together.
